I have just one attendent, my MOH. We ordered her dress in October and it arrived just before Christmas. Since I was so busy travelling I didn't get a chance to go look at it - the bridal shop is 45 min drive away. It was supposed to be burgundy chiffon. We went for a fitting on the weekend and when they pulled the dress my MOH and I looked at each other with a "that's not the right dress" look. So we had looked at the swatch book they showed us when we ordered the dress. On the copy of the invoice that stayed with the dress the color "burgundy" was crossed out and replaced with "raspberry" (the dress is more purple then burgundy). My MOH's receipt didn't have the color crossed out and I can't remember the shop calling me to ask if the color change was ok (they said they did). The reason they changed the color is they showed me the old book so that color wasn't being used anymore, so they just matched to the closest color in the new swatch book. Anyway, now I have an MOH dress color I am not happy with.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Are there any sites/stores that might have in-stock BM dresses? I don't have enough time to order another dress.
