What's your "something blue"?

Re: What's your "something blue"?

  • So many creative ideas here, thanks for sharing!  I like the blue underwear idea, but I'll have to experiment with different lighting if I go that route because my dress has a chiffon skirt and I took out one of the layers of crinoline, so I wouldn't want anything showing through.

<div>If you haven't gotten shoes yet, Pour La Victoire makes some blue-soled shoes that I imagine are less than the shoes that Tigers was talking about.  I tried a pair, but they weren't comfortable for my feet.  The resoling is a great idea.  </div>

<div>I bought cheap shoes ($35) and the soles cost $30 at my shoe shop (I don't know if it's common for shops to be able to do it in blue - might have to call around) so still less than a lot of people spend on their wedding shoes. I mean, not dirt cheap or anything, but definitely not crazy.</div>

  • I do have my shoes already. They were 35, I sure don't have Christian Louboutin money to throw around! haha. I may just paint the bottom. Probably won't be real durable just it's just for one day.

  • Most of my ensemble is blue - my shoes and purse are grey with blue flowers, my e-ring is a blue diamond, my necklace/earrings are blue swarovsky teardrops, my crinoline is but and my feather headpiece is blue :)
  • Love the blue soled shoes, but if you need something a little more affordable, trythe Something Blue collection at http://www.chachabella.com.  The cool thing is that you can pass the ring onto a sister/daughter for another bride to use as their something blue!
  • The sapphires in my e-and w-ring.  I have two pairs of earrings to decide between and one pair is blue.  I also have blue flowers in my bouquet (and FIs bout)

  • I was going to do my bustle ribbons in blue :).
