I got my shoes!!!

I know they are not traditional or particularly formal, but I am wearing a white seersucker dress and getting married outside so I thought that the wedge being woodish might not look dirty or destroyed as fast.

Those definitely look like a good choice that you will get more use out of as a versatile summery shoe.  Did you find them somewhere locally in NOLA?

Perfect choice. I've found that outside traditional heels can sink in the mud!

Sorry for the delayed response.  I actually got them on shoes.com and I believe they came in many colors (I think yellow was one). 

I suggest going to Zappos and narrowing shoes by heel, then specify wedge, then pick a color.  That's how I found these, but they were out of stock in my size in white so I Googled the designer (Franco Sarto) and style (Harlow) and shoes.com happened to have it in the right combination.  Good luck!!
