Do I wear a veil or no? HELP!

So I'm in a pickle... My dress is a A-line halter top with crystals and pearls around the top and I'm not sure if I want to wear a veil with it. The veil I want is outlined with crystals, but is that TOO much sparkles? Otherwise I'd wear a plain one or just a little tiara. Input would help!!! Thanks!

Do you have a picture of the dress?
I personally prefer veils, but that's just me.  If it matches the dress I think it sounds fine but would really need to see a picture to fully answer

Based on your description of the dress I would say a plain veil, but my personal style is in the "less is more" camp, so take that with a grain of salt.

I did PP with wanting to see a photo of the gown.

Based on just the description I say ditch the veil but if you do go with one, go with a plain one.

Maybe wear a hair accesory or a tiara like you said? It's kind of hard without a picture to tell though.

 I have the same kind of dress and I  got a very very simple veil with just a little beading about the edge.  You can just barely see the beads/crystals unless you are very close.  I love my dress but I didn't feel complete until the sale lady put a veil on me. (originally I didn't want a veil at all so this was a big surprise.) will you please post a pic of your dress!!

Now that I see your dress I think the veil with the sparkle edge would be great, as long as it is waist length or longer. Your dress is fab!!!!

A veil will look fine with your dress.  I actually would see if there is something that could minimally match the ornamentation on the straps of your gown without being too ornate in the front and then getting more ornate to a full match in the back of the gown.

I think a rounded veil that gradually gets longer and goes behind your shoulders would look best unless you want to wear a shrug.  If you go with a shrug over your veil, keep the shrug simple with just pencil edging, and go with the more ornamentation in the back where it will not compete with your dress.
