Comfortable Flats?

I haven't really posted on here but I have a question and I think this board would help me most.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to where to find comfortable flats? I'm looking into espresso colored ones. I have found a wide variety of colors from the Dessy Group, but I don't know too much about the company and was wondering if anyone had any reviews!

  • If you want a color that's easily found in stores, then skip looking for bridal flats altogether.  Look where you would normally buy shoes, and you will probably find some that are much more comfortable.  I'm sure you would have no problem finding flats in multiple shades of brown from sites like DSW, and zappos.com.

  • I bought flats from Nina.  I don't remember if they came in any shade of brown, but Nina makes extremely comfy shoes so I think it's worth checking them out.

  • I usually put gel inserts into my flats (since I tend to buy cheaper Rocket Dog & SM Luxe ones and trash them in a season). I think the only pair I owned that were comfortable on their own were very casual ones by Mudd.
  • Cole Haan Air Elly or Air Elly Criss Cross.

I wore these in ivory for my wedding shoe and they were amazingly comfy.  Kept them on all day & night.
  • Payless usually has a cute selection of shoes and they are way cheaper than most places. I especially like it because it is the only store that has a physical location to try on shoes in my size. (12!!) I have several pairs of flats from their and love them all, despite being a cheap shoe store, the shoes are't cheaply made in my experience,
My baby Buster. FI is jealous cause I love him more.
