Pearls - Do they have to be the same size/color???

I am wearing an add a pearl necklace from my dad which has small pearls on it (the basic add a pearl size). Do I have to wear the same size pearls on the bracelet and earings or can I go a bigger size. Do you think I need to match the color pearl necklace to the pearl bracelt and earings or will that really not matter..

  I would say that as long as the size and color is close that it won't matter.

I don't think size needs to be the same but color should be close.

I have pink, peach, purple and white pearls, I also have a few darker grey pearls. They all look great, but not together.

I think that both, the color and size, should match especially for the earrings and necklace as they are too close to each other.

Size doesn't matter at all.  I have seen plenty of jewelry that comes in sets with pearls of different size!  Color matters for the most part. You don't want to have one be white and the other ivory-unless you mix and match them together (3 bracellets: 1 white, 2 ivory).  IF you do this than you can get away with have different colors together.  However, I still thinking sticking to one color (or very similar) would be best.

It wont matter as long as they are in the same color family. I am wearing a pearl hairpiece, earrings and bracelet that are all different shades when you hold them up next to each other but when they are on, you cant see a difference at all. Oh, and the shapes are different too... there are ovals and rounds in the headpiece and larger pearls in the earrings, and small round in the bracelet. I'm not into the matchy-matchy look so this suits me better.

I would say different sizes is ok but I think the color should match fairly close. I'm borrowing a pearl necklace to wear and hard a hard time matching the color, but I definitely thought it looked strange with jewelry I found that wasn't the same color.
