How would you indicate that your reception site has a dress code.
Would you write "dress code" on the bottom of the invitation?
spread it by word of mouth?
include the information on the rsvp card?
I'm not concerned that most guests would violate it anyway, as it's pretty basic: no jeans, collarless shirts, sneakers, athletic apparell and men are requested to wear a jacket.
Add it on a seperate card with directions, etc?
Or should I assume my guests will know how to dress at a formal event at a private club?
