Generally a Catholic priest will bless a marriage inside the church. Part of the prob with Catholic priests is that they won't perform a marriage outside of the church and this usually includes blessings, as well. You're probably going to have to go to the church for this. It's usually fairly quick, and you dont have to take pre cana classes for this. I believe you just have to agree to raise your children Catholic. As far as a reception, my cousin eloped and she invited everyone to a beach bar type reception during the summer, it was a TON of fun. She had a DJ and everything, but they didn't do the formal intros, etc. Her parents are deceased so they didn't do the special dances, but I guess that's something you could still do. It was very low key and not weird at all that they were already married. I also did makeup for a bride who was married in Vegas and they had a formal reception at a country club a few months later, she wore her dress, etc.
