I decided that, instead of making my bridal party wear the same colors and same style dress, they should choose a color in the red/pink/purple jewel tones that they like best on their skin tone, as well as choose the cut of dress they like.
One of my bridesmaids said that for continuity, I should go ahead and choose the exact color, but leave the style open. But the other two seem to be happy with keeping both color and style open.
Am I being too flexible? Is it tacky to have a bridal party wearing different colors (although somewhat in the same family of color)?
All my bridesmaids are stunning girls, and I want them to feel really beautiful at my wedding too.
