Clips or combs

I am making my own flowered hair piece and not sure whether to use a comb or clip. I am wearing my hair in a messy side bun. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Depends on the quality of your hair, really. For me, I have very thick wavy hair and whenever I try to use a clip it grabs too much hair and slips out because it doesn't close securely. Combs always stick well and feel more secure. Perhaps if you have thinner hair a clip might work better because a comb wouldn't have enough to stick into.

My hair is fine and very soft so if I put a comb in, it slides right out. I had to change the comb for my wedding to a clip.
