Wedding Colors

Alright, so it was suggested to me that I go to a paint store and get paint swatches. I did this but now I am wondering what to do. I know that the colors will not be found in the paint words for wedding gowns and such. So what do I do after I get colors together? So that I can begin looking for other things like stationary and what not. I

I started with what I couldn't change, my husband's uniform color of a different kind of navy blue.  So I took a piece of his uniform in to look for bridesmaid fabric.  i ended up with a Victorian Lilac.  Then I went from there.  The color theme became Victorian Lilac, silver, and white/ivory.  It all looked good, but that shade of lilac was impossible to match with linens or flowers so we just had to go with coordinating.
