I thought I had found my dress....I loved it and my MOH totally agreed. She even took a picture of it. Well, my fiance found the picture on my camera while we were on vacation, and he HATES it! In fact, he called it trashy. I blew it off, playing that it wasn't the dress I loved, but he didn't buy it. In fact, he insisted on taking me to the local Alfred Angelo salon in CA (while we were on vacation) to give me the chance to try on a few styles that I liked and a few he liked. (He insisted that if I found "the" dress, I not let him know. He wants that element of surprise.) Well, I found a dress that is just pefect. Alfred Angelo style #2117. I was shocked on how amazing I looked in it, considering I am a size 14 in a fit and flare dress. But it gave me the most unbelievable curves and hugged me in just the right places. I would have bought the dress right there.
Here is my problem. I very dear friend of mine is getting married 6 months before me, and it's her dress. I knew that when I tried it on, but I couldn't resist. I am looking for advice on what to do! I know my only option is find a different dress, but I'm not having any luck. Has anyone ever run into this problem and if so, what did you end up doing?
