Help! My dress is boring!

I bought a simple/fun/tea length dress for my June wedding, but now I'm feeling like it's too plain and we've decided to change our venue, so my dress doesn't really go w/the new spot - - my dress just doesn't feel like "the one"!  I would love to start all over again but I am worried I won't be able to sell my current dress to help make up the cost of buying a 2nd one.  Here's my dress (from David's Bridal):  



SOOO...I'm hoping to collect some ideas of ways to dress mine up (w/more than just jewelry)...I've thought of doing a sash or adding colored tulle underneath...what else?? HELP!!

my dress is very simple and i'm having a great flowered belt made for it. maybe try something like that? check on etsy, there are tons of great belts for wedding dresses on there...some with beading, ruffles, flowers...tons of options!!

I love the idea of a beaded or floral belt with that dress.

Or, if that is not your thing, you could always add a unique veil or bold jewelry.

I LOVE the idea of a bolero with that dress.  It would really dress it up and change the look for the ceremony, then take it off for the reception.  You could wear really dressy heels and a birdcage veil and drop earrings, it would be gorgeous!

The fun part of a "plain" dress is that you can really dress it up! I really love all the ideas everyone else has come up with. Would bright colorful shoes be an option?

Thank you all so much for your helpful ideas!  I have been looking at lots of really great stuff on etsy (boleros and sash/belts, etc).  I really appreciate the help!  Anything more that comes to mind, please pass it along
