Need Comfortable Wedding Shoes with Very High Heel...

My fiance is 6 foot, 5 inches and I am 5 foot, 4 inches. Therefore, I need the tallest high-heeled wedding shoe possible. I also want wedding shoes that are very comfortable and that I won't feel like I am about to fall at any moment. Does anyone have any suggestions for very comfortable wedding shoes?

I actually hate Nine West - they are the worst for me.

I'm 5'5" and my husband is 6'5", and I only did a 2-3" heel (I didn't measure, lol) for my wedding. My bridesmaid was 5'11" too!

Really?! That's super weird, nine west always works for me!

I also thought of Nina. I hear they're pretty comfy for dress shoes.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will definitely look into wedges and platform shoes and Nina an Nine West brands.

I don't care about the height difference between the two of us. The main issue is that it actually hurts to dance with him if I don't have at least a 3-inch heel on (I have years of experience of dancing with him because we went to both of our high school proms together and to many formals during college).  I usually wore these one pair of black satin platforms with a 4-inch heel that I can dance in for hours and I would love to find something similar. I bought them so many years ago, however, and I haven't seen anything similar since.

My FI is 12 inches taller than me, so I can commisserate on the dancing beginning to hurt. I'm wearing 4" wedges. I'd probably invest in a nicer pair of shoes since you'll want to be in them all night - find something with good support.

If you don't normally wear really high heels, I would advise against doing so on your wedding day. Wear a shoe that you can actually spend most of the day in and feel comfortable.

The big thing for me when selecting shoes was I got my gown hemmed based on the shoe I planned to wear that day. If I took my shoes off, my gown was going to be dragging on the floor, and I didn't want to ruin it. So I made sure that I got shoes that I wouldn't want to take off until the party was over.

I am wearing a pair of Louboutins for my wedding and yes - they are extremely comfortable.  They are just about 5 inches tall.  I had to get a large heel because the hem of my dress was too long and the seamstress claimed she couldn't fix it.  Plus - I live in heels, so the height doesn't bother me.

Wahhhh I'm so jealous :( my dream shoes are Louboutins but I don't think I could afford it...EVER.

Same problem here - I'm 5", FI is 6'-2". One overall concern with wedges - they tend to be on the casual side, so make sure they go with your dress and venue.

I wanted to look tall so I bought 5" heels. They are quite ugly, I must say - but I figure they're under the dress, so who cares. My plan is to wear them until dancing starts, and at that point change into a short white dress and smaller, cuter heels. Louboutins sound lovely - but FI lives in France, so personally I'd rather spend the money on a flight to see him than shoes.

Here are the black shoes that I have worn for years to dances (and I have danced in them for hours without getting blisters). If I could find white shoes like these....it would be amazing!
