Little background info- my engagement ring was my fiance's grandmother's. It was given to him when his grandad passed away (he pretty much raised him) so it's super special and gorgeous
Well, my grandma who I was also very close to, passed away a few months ago, and she left me her wedding ring. The ring has 9 diamonds in it so I was thinking that it would be really special to incorporate it into my wedding ring.
Now- I can't decide how to incorporate them! I am eventually going to go to a custom jewler and figure it all out- but, I would love some opinions! Here is a picture of my ring:

It's sort of hard to tell, but my ring isn't a solitaire. It is 7 smaller diamonds in the shape of a round solitaire. My original idea was to have the diamonds put into my wedding band (They are very similar to the diamonds in my engagement ring, so it would work out perfect) It would look something like this:

But, I also really like the look of diamonds in the band (setting) of my engagement ring... like on sides. Something to this effect:
