Hi ladies,
I bought my Pronovias Alma dress (
http://www.pronovias.com/wedding-gown/alma2011.html) in Houston, TX and I'm not sure what to do about alterations. Their in-house seamstress quoted the following:
$260 for a hem (about 4 to 5 inches) and taking in the bust about 2 inches
$45-60 for a bustle (more than a simple one as the train drapes asymmetrically)
$72 to add 24 french buttons down the zipper
$400 seems a bit high to me but I'm not sure if it is worth it to lug the dress around the city. Their seamstress is supposed to be really good I'm just not sure what the best choice is!
