Jewelry for Sweetheart Neckline

Hello ladies!
I have a question.
I don't wear any jewelry normally (just the engaement ring), so I'm at a loss here.
This is my dress. ( http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Satin-Gown-with-Lace-and-Beaded-Appliques-WG3103 )
It is a sweatheart neckline and the sparkly bits are below the waist.
I don't have pierced ears (earrings were most suggested according to a forum search).
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

  • You could always get a style similar to the one in the model picture if you like that look.
It doesn't have to be perfect to be everything I want!

  • I wore a sweetheart neckline with pearls. Pearls are classic.. But if you're not a jewelry person normally, don't feel like you have to be for your wedding.
  • I wore a sweetheart neckline with only a blinged out wrap around headband and a diamond bracelet that I borrowed from my Mom.  I too don't have pierced ears and I hate wearing necklaces becasue they bother me.  Also, like you, I never wear any jewelry except for my rings so I didn't want to over power myself with loads of jewels because that just wasn't me.

  • You can do a simple chain with a pendant even if you felt like you needed something around your neck.. Any chance you have one that means something special to you or one from your mom or a bridesmaid that you could use then for your something borrowed? I went to a wedding where the bride was just like you, normally doesn't wear anything & she borrowed a necklace from one of her girls, it looked great.
  • Thank you so much for all of your replys!
I have a long strand of pearls my dad gave me, but they're the wrong color and don't look right with the dress.
I like the idea of a bracelet.  I'll have to look into that.
I was just afraid there would be too much... flesh... between my face and the top of the dress.
    Thank you again!
  • You can turn most pierced earrings into clip-ons if you really do want earrings (link below). Also, many antique stores have pretty clip-ons.
