storing a wedding dress?

I ended up getting a dress on sale almost 16 months before my wedding. How should I store it? Davids bridal said to hang it but online it says to lay it flat. Any advice?

If you can lay if flat in a breathable bag it's best. Maybe under a bed where it wont be bothered.

Laying it flat would be best because if it is a heavy dress it may stretch over the next 16 months.

Make sure that it is in a fabric garmet bag and not a plastic one because you will want it to be able to breathe.

Also, keep it somewhere dark so the fabric will not discolor.

I hung my dress by the hanging loops sewn in at the underarm in a breathable/fabric garment bag for almost 20 months.  It was fine.

hang it somewhere or put it sleep under your bed could be better, cuz it will makes little bit flat
