A slight obsession... anyone with me?

To preface this, I have never been a huge fan of the color pink. Even growing up, I was a purple girl all the way.

Lately, however, I find myself LOVING blush-colored wedding dresses. I think they are gorgeous and romantic. I already have my dress, and it's a beautiful light gold dress with an ivory lace overlay. I wouldn't change it for the world, but I still find myself drawn to the blush gowns.

Anyone else on the same wavelength?

  • I do like the blush colored ones.. so romantic! But I would never wear one.

  • I'm pretty sure my conservative FI would flip if I wore a blush-colored dress... he'll probably give me a slight side-eye for the light gold & ivory one I am wearing :)

  •   I'm not a huge fan of pink. I don't hate it, but there are definitely colors I like better. FI hates pink. I found a really cute dress that is a blush pink top and underlay with embroidered tulle skirt to wear for one of my showers or the rehearsal dinner. I showed FI and he said it was nice because it was "more of a light peachy-pink". And I'd been avoiding pink dresses since we met because of his hatred for the color...
  • I like the blush colored dresses but my FI asked that I please go with a more gender neutral color so we're doing sage green with pink flowers.
  • LOL I am with ya! I love them! They are so timeless and romantic! I already have my dress and I LOVE it but I do love just browing and looking at the blush pink ones!

  • I think they're lovely, but personally couldn't have worn one.  Hopefully one day I'll have a ball to go to and can wear a big and lovely non-white dress :).
  • Luv em also.... the are totally timeless and romantic. But like so many of you... i don't think I would wear one... It's kind of weird though.... so many of us luv em but wouldn't wear one?
  • I am! My dress is a very pale, slightly peachy pink silk georgette (like a heavier chiffon). A white dress just isn't my style and I wanted something with a soft, antique feel so my mom (a seamstress) and I are blending a couple of patterns together to make a 1930's style gown.
