I am having some issues with my BM dresses and just can't decide what to do. My 6 BM, my mother and FMIL, and myself went shopping yesterday for BM dresses. From the time I got engaged, I had my heart set on having Aqua (Carribbean Blue or Aruba) as my color. However, when we went to David's Bridal, the closest color they had to that was Pool and I felt like it was just too light and not close to what I wanted. Then the girls tried on a dress that we all feel in love with. It fit everyone perfectly and was so figure flattering. My girls range in sizes and the fact that we found ONE dress that fit everyone and everyone liked, I was stoked!
Then came the issue. That dress did not come in Pool, or even my runner up color, Oasis, which had a much more jewel tone of a bluish green. It did come in Clover which was like a medium sage (actually it's almost identical to the color of the green you see when you click "post" "add a poll" or "cancel"). I had never thought I'd want a green, but it was so summery and it looked good on all the girls. So I thought we had agreed to change the color.
Today, my mother and I went to another dress store to look at a dress for her and they happened to have a designer that had the exact color I had always thought I would have. It's Mori Lee and the color is Peacock. I looked at the catalog of the dresses and I didn't fall in love with any of the dresses, like I did with the Green Dress Style. My problem is, I don't know if I'm ready to give up my dream color, but I adore the dress. What do I do? Do I pick the dress that I love, with a color I really like and it looks great on everyone? Or do I scrap it, and pick a dress I like, with a color I love?
