What to wear under the dress?

Ok I know I must sound like a dork but I have no Idea where to start on picking out undergerments for my wedding day. My dress is a halter that is form fitting around the torso and flowy from the hips down(see pics). Any suggestions on where to start or what to wear?

I would post on your local board for recommendations for places. Here in Chicago we have a number of local, independant stores that specialize in lingerie. Hopefully someone knows of something near you. Otherwise try a google search for lingerie store in your area.

Hmm...kind of depends...do you want to wear a bra at all or would you prefer to go without?  You have some options and it all depends on what you're comfortable with.  You could go with cups sewn in, a strapless bra or even a corset strapless bra.  Again, it depends on what you're comfortable with wearing.  I'm well-endowed so I will definitely be wearing a corset bra that holds the girls in...LOL

As for a slip, you wouldn't necessarily need one with your gown but if you want one I'd just go with a straight slip or maybe something minimally poofy, if that makes sense.

I would keep it simple and just add cups. No muss, no fuss, and they won't leave lines under the lightweight fabric (looks like chiffon?) of your gown like a lot of corsets or longline bras would.

I would skip the slip/crinoline because I love the way it flows already.

I asked the advice of the lady doing my alterations. in the case of a halter, why not see if you can get a bra sewn in??

Thank you all so much for your advice and comments. I feel better allready. I like Moneypenny424's comment lol. I think I'll go with the cups I like the "no muss no fuss" Idea. But just to make sure I'll ask my alterations lady.
