Best Friend's dress

My best friend, my MOH got married in April of 2011, I am getting married in Oct of 2012.. the dress that she wore and also used as bridesmaid dresses is the dress I wanted to use.. She says she doesnt care if I used the same dress, my FI loves me in the dress but I think it's too soon to use the same dress... Everytime I look at dresses I come back to the same one, even the bridesmaids dresses would be the same color(black) ... I cant even fine one I like that is simillar but not exactly the same dress..
Half of my bridal party was in her wedding as well... but most of the guest list will be different... will it be tacky if I use the same dresses??? HELP!!!!!!

You're totally fine to use the same dresses. If your MOH isn't making it a big deal then who cares. Do what you want its your wedding.

If you think she is genuinely ok with the idea, go right ahead and use the same dresses.  With a mostly different guest list no-one but your closest friends are going to know, and even if you have the same theme and colors, it will look a little different with your personal touches.

Also remember, you look different in the dress than your MOH did. I don't think anyone would remember anyway that she wore the same dress. Just make sure it is truly what you want before you commit!! Have you tried on other dresses yet? And if you're so worried about it you might also want to at least try to find something different, since it's bothering you so much.

Well I am going to try on other dresses in a couple of weeks, the girls are all coming to town... if I find something else I will be so happy but if not I do really love the dresses she used!
