Online veil basics - advice requested

I need to get a veil relatively soon (wedding is in 3 months), and I've tried on some at the store and know that I want a fingertip length or maybe longer, and with a crystal-edge.  I definitely balked at the prices at the store though, so I'm looking online.  I'll search Etsy and such, but I'm looking for some basic advice.  Is that "bridal illusion" stuff really better than tulle?  Are crystals all the same, or do I need to worry about quality?  Are there particular websites or sellers you recommend?  Any and all advice is appreciated!  TIA!

Bridal illusion is a name for a small-gage type of tulle. Not all tulle is bridal illusion, but all bridal illusion is tulle. The smaller the gage, the more flexible and less scratchy the material, but there really should not be a difference in price unless someone's trying to rip you off.

Crystals vary in quality, but to be honest, I can't tell the difference between most types, especially from a distance. Go with whatever works in your budget.

I'm a big fan of Occansey Designs, which allows you to customize your veil for pretty low prices. Also keep looking at etsy and at ebay, which have some great deals.

I got my veil from Ebay seller venus_veils. They are all new veils, don't worry. I love what I purchased and received it very quickly. They have a really wide variety to choose from, and I was able to find exactly what I wanted...actually it sounds close to what you are looking for. Good luck!

I've not received mine yet (it's on its way now!) but I ordered from Occansey Designs.  I was definitely impressed with the turnaround time and customization options and I've seen a lot of recommendations for them on The Knot...
