I have a general (and by general I mean very specific) idea of what I want, but no idea how to get it. I feel like a deer in headlights. I'm nineteen, and I'm getting married just a couple months shy of my 21st birthday (young bride, yes. shotgun wedding, no). I've been on my own for awhile now and I live about 3,000 miles from any family so I'll be dress shopping alone. I just don't know what to do!

I prefer modest, simple, but lacey styles with skirts like that.
I can't seem to find it anywhere though. And I don't know where to look.
One of the things I think I should do is just try on the various styles of dresses and see which ones look the best on me but I'm having no luck picking a place to do that!
Does anyone have any advice for me? Comforting words? Anything?
