MOB and MOG Dresses

What color is your mother and FMIL wearing? We are all going dress shopping tomorrow and they keep asking me what color they should wear. I dont really care, lol. The BM dresses will be burgundy and the flowers will be reds/oranges. What would you suggest?

I have the same problem my FMIL keeps bothering me about it, like I don't have more important things to worry about. My mom already has hers picked out and bought, but its a year away and I don't think it's a big deal.

I think they can wear whatever they want to imo.

I told them to wear what ever color they wanted.  My girls dresses were clover green.  My mom wore a light green dress and my MIL wore navy blue.

The best answer to their question is the answer my adorable DIL gave me:

Me:  What do you want me to wear for the wedding?
DIL:  Whatever you feel comfortable and beautiful in.

FWIW:  MOB and MOG are not part of the wedding party.  While they might want to be in the same ballpark in regard to formality, they don't have to match color scheme or style. 

For son and DIL's wedding, the girls wore knee length dresses, but MOB and I wore floor length.

BMs wore black dresses with green sashes. My mom wound up buying an icy blue outfit. I don't have a MIL.
