I got engaged with a simple claddagh ring which i would exchange for a more ornate (diamond) claddagh when i got married, but I can't find any that are not huge or ugly (I have really small hands!)

any ideas?

My friends have something like this, where the Claddagh is a pattern on the band, rather than the design of the entire band: http://www.custom-celtic.com/mcmahon.htm (see the top left and top center designs). They got them from a local Irish shop here in New Jersey.
