Alfred Angelo???

I've been looking around at places to try and find my girls BM's dresses and I really l ike their seperates collection. Has anyone here gotten their dresses through Alfred Angelo and if so what did you think of them? My BM's are on limited budgets so price matters.

Re: Alfred Angelo???

  • I was a BM in my friend's wedding this past August, and my BM dress was by Alfred Angelo (color was celadon).  The dress was well-made, reasonably priced, and looked pretty.  My friend's wedding gown was also by Alfred Angelo and it looked very pretty on her.

I think Alfred Angelo has good prices...but I have found that in the case of wedding attire, you get what you pay for.  Stick with Alfred Angelo and you'll get something nice, or spend a little more with a different designer & you'll get something more glamorous.  Long story short, I have no complaints about Alfred Angelo.

  • I was MOH in my best friends wedding and my gown was from Alfred Angelo.  I loved it! The best part was that I was able to find a gown I can reuse, so the price was reasonable and I will be able to use it again.

  • My BM dresses are Alfred Angelo as well, the FG dress will probably be too. I've loved the designs so far. There are so many options with the colors and lengths, etc. The BMs each picked out a different dress to flatter their body type, and his line worked really well for this. Plus I agree, many styles are re-wearable. I believe I read that he's coming out with a new line in Feb 2010 that is supposed to be all "re-wearable" styles, so probably a bit more casual styles.
  • I got my wedding dress from them and it was around $700. It was really well made but not necessarily more well made than DB.

I thought DB had BM separates as well? Maybe I'm crazy.

To ditto pp, I have no complaints with Alfred Angelo.

  • My girls are also wearing Alfred Angelo, they all found a dress they're comfortable with and within their budgets. I feel that Alfred Angelo is a step up from Davids Bridal. Some of my girls have had bad experiences with DB dresses falling apart. Of course you get what you pay for, but I've only heard good things about Alfred Angelo.
  • My wedding dress is made by Alfred Angelo, but I bought it else where and I love it.

My BMs will be wearing Alfred Angelo too just not sure what dress yet and they are really pretty.

The seperates collection looks really great but I personally didn't want to do seperates.

  • I coordinated a weddig a few years ago for a family member.  The BM's and MOH all chose dresses from the separates collection with Alfred Angelo.  The quality was really good and I'm hoping to at least look there when I decide to get my dress.  They have some wonderful designs.

No complaints at all about Alfred Angelo!

  • I have to agree with all the other posts. I have had nothing but good experinces with Alfred Angelo. I have personally worn a BM dress from there and now my girls are also getting there from here. I actually sought out this store because of the quality, price, and associates.
