Pearl earings with no pearl necklace?

I have been thinking about wearing dangle pearl earings but I dont plan on wearing a pearl necklace, would this look ok if the jewelry doesnt match?

    I'm wearing antique looking earrings with pearls and no pearl necklace. It will be fine.

    I'm wearing a gold chain necklace with a little gold cross that goes back to the early 1900s and has been passed down through the family (so excited to wear it!) and I have pearl drop earrings with it.  So, obviously I think you'd look great with pearl earrings but no pearl necklace.  :)

    I don't like mixing pearls with anything else, but to each their own! If you try them on together and like the way it looks, rock it!
