State Parks?

Has anyone had/ is anyone having their wedding reception at one of the Nh State Parks on the ocean? Either the Hampton Beach State Park or the Odiorne State Park? I have been trying to plan an oceanfront reception on Cape Cod with absolutely no luck! Just wondering if anyone has insight to having a tented reception at one of these state parks? Thanks for the help!

Odiorne State Park is a popular wedding site. There are a couple brides on here who are having their wedding there.

My brother & sister in law got married at Hampton Beach 2 years ago. They didn't even need to rent a tent because they rented the pavillion instead. It ended up raining, so my dad had bought construction grade plastic lining and we wrapped the pavillion with that & cut cathedral style windows in the plastic for lighting... it work out AWESOME!

They even have picnic tables you could use there if your style is more laid back. If not, you could rent tables & chairs from a rental company. (I personally reccomend SPecial Events of New England). There are also bathrooms attached to the pavillion as well.

There is also parking available at the pavillion & the beach is only 50 steps or so away!

The only reason DH & I decided against having our wedding at the state park/beach is because they do not allow alcohol... and we did NOT want a dry wedding!!

</div><div style="text-align:left;">State Parks actually do allow alcohol is you hire a police offer and  get liquor liability insurance. It cost us about $200 to get the insurance, and they don't have a fee to get a detail for the beach. It states it right the facility use agreement they provide you.
