Accessory Question

My husband got me a necklace and earings st for Christmas, he mentioned me wearing them for the wedding. I was planning on it but I realized they are the completely wrong style for my dress, is there any nice way to tell him they don't match? Could I suggest wearing them for the rehersal? Or should I just suck it up and be thankful to make him happy? I'm leaning toward the sucking it up right now. I would add a clicky poll with each option but I don't know how to.

Re: Accessory Question

  • I was actually in this same situation. My then FI had bought me a necklace on the cruise that we got engaged on. He mentioned wearing it for the wedding. I did not want to wear it because it was white diamonds and my e-ring, wedding ring, bracelet and earrings for the wedding were all blue diamonds.

So I just said that since the whole wedding was blue, my veil, dress, shoes and other jewelry were blue - that I really wanted my necklace to be blue diamonds as well. He said okay and set out to find a blue diamond journery necklace.

Sit him down, tell him how you feel. Do NOT surprise him with this at the wedding.
