So the good news is...  I got my dress!  The bad news is I have no clue what the guys should wear.  My dear sweet groom has no opinion.  My dress is lace in a beautiful ivory.  The wedding is in July.  I wanted it to be very casual, just khaki pants, a dress shirt but now everyone agrees my dress is not casual enough for that to look good.  My dear sweet groom now says he's always wanted a tux or suit.  We agree black tuxes are too much for our beach bbq wedding, so linen suits.  What color?  Do you all think Khaki or Tan suits will look ok with my ivory dress, or should we try grey?

I think linen or khaki suits would look very nice. And then they could wear ties that match your other wedding colors or your BM's dresses.

I've never heard of a grey linen suit, go with a grey suit OR a linen suit. I think a linen suit (I've only ever seen them in sort of cream to tan colored) or a grey suit would look fine with your lace dress.

Agree with s2g.  We settled on a medium/dark gray suit for FI, and lighter gray for the best man.  Our accent color is yellow, which the MOH will wear, and FI's tie will be yellow too.  Cheerful, dressy, but not tuxedo formal...

Gray suits are so sharp, that is what we're using for our outdoor wedding!

I used to work at a mens store that did tuxes, and when people would come in wanting something casual, we usually put them in a very light colored linen suit. Check out mens wearhouse, they have alot of good options that are affordable. They rent certain suits too now. The people there are really helpful too if you just tell them whats going on. I would talk to someone in the tuxedo part of the store.

I'm having an outdoor wedding in April and would like the atmosphere to be comfortable.  My dress is fabulous if I do say so myself, but not over the top formal (picture below).  My FI will be in a linen suit...and they have a great selection and GREAT prices at Kohl's.  I was just going to have the groom's men buy the same pants as FI suit, any white button down shirt, and then I was going to get their ties so they all match.
