My mother has been to a wedding there (we actually looked there but it was too small)
My mother said the wedding was amazing and the food was equally so!

too small! ahh! LOL we're only expecting about 100, so it's going to be spacious and perfect for us! I like the rusticness and we're doing a winter wedding so I think it'll really come out well!

    Thanks for the feedback!

I have been looking into this venue also. They don't list any prices for the dinner menu/buffest menu at all on the site. If you don't mind me asking, which dinner package did you choose and how much pp?

We're going with buffet and its like $26/pp.. they have some great packages, this just happened to work best for us cause it's a turkey dinner (both of our fav's!) Email Michelle the planner, or request the packages, she's good with getting back to you.

Hi - My husband and I were married at the Haverhill Country Club on 10/29/11 - the night of the freak nor'easter. I noticed that your wedding is in January. Congratulations!!!!! We were so disappointed by the lack of preparations made by the club despite several days of warnings about the potential for downed power lines and their knowledge that we had several handicapped people coming to our event that would relying on a working elevator, including my father who is a double-amputee in an electric wheelchair. The club lost power and did not have a working generator, and in fact, needed to go to Home Depot to buy a generator as well work lamps to light the ballroom. As you can imagine, this took time (precious time) and threw my event into total chaos for almost two hours. My father had the humiliating experience of having to be carried up the stairs at his daughter's wedding. Several of our guests fell coming in and out of the site because nothing had been shoveled or salted. Unbeknownst to me, the bar remained open throughout most of this time. While this might have seemed like a nice gesture, it put a number of my guests at risk as some were served too much alcohol in the middle of a snow storm. We also had a few guests and an employee crash into the guard rails at the bottom of the hill. I don't want to be an alarmist, but beware. Have a conversation about what will happen if the power goes out ahead of time and get all of the agreements in writing. My husband and I made the best of the circumstances, despite our concerns & disappointments. It seems our ability to remain calm in the face of chaos was misunderstood by HCC. When we complained to them two days later, they were totally unresponsive....didn't even offer an apology!!! Again, not hoping to scare you, but warn you...get all your concerns addressed ahead of time & in writing!!!! I wish you all the best....and much happiness.
