ties or bowties?!?!?!

Im not sure if i should do ties or bowties. Also my colors are hot pink lime green and white. Im going to put some of the groomsmen in pink (ties or bowties) and some in green but, Im not sure what color to put on the groom. Maybe just a black?

Re: ties or bowties?!?!?!

  • What does your FI want to wear?
  • We did ties. Your groom could wear black or white.

I think instead of saying what "YOU" are going to do with your groom and groomsmen, you should ask the groom what he wants for him and his groomsmen.  And then let him decide... and be ok with it.

He has made it clear that he doesnt care what they wear.
  • I like white ties/bowties when the shirt is a different color. Otherwise it just looks like the groom is not wearing a tie if he has white on white. That's too bad that your FI doesn't have any opinion on what he wears. It would make your job a lot easier (maybe)!

My FI loves the idea of having 2 looks. He wants to wear a bowtie at the ceremony and show up in a more flashy, fun tie to the reception. Same for his groomsmen. They are overly excited for dressing up! hahah.
