I am so glad I am not the only one that is nervious about ordering a dress from China.

I (like so many others) have fallen for a Wedding Dress Bee dress and sadly, it has become "the one".

I have searched google a few times looking for the original designer for this dress. Maybe a few more pairs of eyes can help. Thanks ladies!

I found a dress on Pinterest that led to that site. After all the research I did on the site I don't feel comfortable purchasing through them. Plus, as a designer myself I don't approve of rip offs. Hi ladies,
I found a dress on Pinterest that I have to have for my wedding. The link took me to WeddingDressBee.net. I found the original designer, Maggie Sottero, but its from an old collection. The dress has been discontinued. It was originally about $950.00. The dress I found on WDB.net is only about $250.00. I found the same dress on other, even more sketchy sites for less but I've read some of the reviews online for WDB and a few people have posted pictures as proof and those posts seem pretty legit.. I am skeptical of some posts that don't have avatars but hey, whatever.

Anyway, my BFF ordered her dress from FishInTheSky.com for around $300.00 and she has gotten it and loves it. Apparently the quality and fit is good. Unfortunately FITS.com doesn't have the dress I want (go figure) so I feel somewhat forced to purchase mine from WDB.com with the hopes the GOOD reviews are real. Since the dress is discontinued, I can't even buy an original!

I sent an email to WDB today asking for a picture of the dress I want as MADE BY THEM and not just the stock photo from Maggie Sottero's website. We'll see how that works out. When I receive a response I will update!

this thread is old but i still don't recommend getting your dress from them. yes all dresses come from china or some made in the usa but with the original designer dress from a ligit salon you are getting the dress how its supposed to be made.

say you were a designer and you were making wedding gowns you had three lines one was a plus size line another was a more cuture unique line of gowns higher priced and then you had a lower priced line of really nice gowns. say between 500-1200  and your higher priced gowns went from 1500-6000. you find out that your stock photos have made it to some china knock off websites and they are selling your 1500 gown for 200 how would you feel. 

i would be upset 

there are lots of ways to get a designer gown for less money such as davids bridal, alfred angelo, looking at designers such as mori lee jasmine and venus and allure, looking at pre owned wedding websites, checking out bridal consigments vows bridal in ma, hitting up blow out and sample sales at klienfelds bridal
