Any Justin Alexander 8465 brides?

I ordered this dress, but it hasn't come in yet. The salon I ordered from did not have a sample dress. I was wondering if anyone knows if I need a bra or if the built in bra is sufficent. My girls are in between a C and D. C's I'm overpouring, and D's are roomy..if that makes sense. Also, I read there is a built in corset...is that a good/comfortable one?

Will I need a petticoat or is it fluffy enough with out one?

[QUOTE]I'm not sure about the bra situation, but I LOVE that dress. It's so pretty! Have you picked shoes/accessories yet?

I have my shoes. :D I got some Jessica Simpson pumps and I am strassing them. It may be silly, but it is a running joke with my FI and I that I will add rhinestones or glitter to anything that doesn't move.

I don't know about jewelry or anything. My mom said she has something for me so I'm not worrying too much about it.

    I really love my dress.
  • I am also a Justin Alexander bride, but different dress. I'm also in the same bra size situation. I'm not sure about that particular dress, but with mine, the built in bra was supportive enough, but didn't really push up, it was just kind of there. The sample I tried on was also one size too small so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. Depending on how it looks when it comes in I might do a bra or have it altered so that that It gives me a little lift.

Thanks! I think this is what I will do too. Since I won't be wearing a bra I guess I'll be going to my fitting alone!

I'm a Justin Alexander bride too, again, different dress, but I will probably not be wearing a bra, the built in was good.

As to the bra, in between size thing, if you end up needing one- have you thought about inserts to fill out a too big bra? I have massively uneven cup sizes so I use them all the time to fill out one part of my too big bra.

  • I just bought this dress yesterday.  It's perfect!!  The dress is plenty poufy, it doesn't need anything extra. I would suggest a bra of your own though if you are looking for a push up!  The whole gown is so comfortable.  You'll love it!!!!  Good Luck!!
