HUGE AW: Calling all Red Sox Fans!

FI and I played in Tim Wakefield and Jason Varitek's charity poker event tonight. I started to get pissed because no players were sitting at our table. Yeah, yeah, Dustin Pedroia met my eyes and smiled at me. But he wasn't sitting with us. Then, I saw diamonds (literally) and my favorite Sox player EVER sat down at our table. He got all my chips in the end, but I was still starry eyed.

Now a little backstory: All week I've been saying, "FI, if David Ortiz sits with us, I seriously might crap my pants."

Thankfully, I did NOT live up to my prediction, hahaha:

That is awesome! How did you get involved with it? I'm wicked jealous, hehe. My favorite player ever is Tek. I pretty much think I'd freak out if I ever got to meet him!

FI plays for an amateur league in Boston, and the poker tourney was listed on their website. FI asked if I was interested, and we went! It was a lot of fun. We'll probably go again next year.

Megglez- Tek literally bumped into FI when he was walking. FI said it was like steel hitting him. He's jacked. Papelbon too. I couldn't believe how huge he was!

I'd like to bump into Tek, haha. That is so cool and I love how much charity work the Sox players do. FI loves playing poker, and is now interested in finding out about next year's game.

My favorite player is also Tek. I think that, next to my man of course, he is the most beautiful thing alive. I am pretty confident I'd faint if I saw him. LOL
