Nina shoes - is the brand comfortable?

Hi ladies - I really like the shoes that the brand Nina makes - they're pretty, have lots of different heel heights, and colors!  I don't usually buy shoes online because there's no way to know if they're comfortable or not.

Has anyone bought Nina shoes and been in pain, been super comfortable, any advice on fit?  I am a 7.5 literally everywhere... but this would be a bad time to get it wrong!

Thanks for the help!

  • I find them very comfortable, but everyone is different.  My suggestion, if you can find the style you're looking for (or a similar one) in store (department stores like Macy's and Belks usually carry them) you should try on a pair and walk around in there, see if there's anything that immediately bothers you about them.  I've noticed that they run large as well, so definitely try some on in the store to be sure you order the right size.

  • I wore them as a BM and found them very comfortable!
  • I find them to be extremely comfortable.  Like PP, I'd say go to a major department store and try some on to get an idea of comfort and fit.

  • I tried them on in a store once and they were really uncomfortable for me, even after walking in them for only a few mins. I'd highly suggest that you go and try them on yourself rather than rely on the advice of people whose feet are different from yours.

  • i think those shoes are hell on earth.  i bought one pair on my own (i made from my apartment to my car and my feet wear killing me, then never could wear them again).  then i was forced to buy a pair as a BM and those were not as bad, but not comfortable.  good thing the bride bought us flip flops to wear later.
  • I've never been able to wear Nina shoes.  I *LOVE* their styles and keep making hte mistake of buying them.  I can wear them for about 1 hrs and then my feet hurt so much I end up going barefoot.  I think they just tend to have too high of heels for me which puts all your weight on the balls of your foot and they aren't padded enough to wear for a long time.

Are you looking for them as your wedding shoes?  Since it will be a long day, I'm going with very short heels, 1.5" for the wedding.  They won't be seen much under my floor length dress anyway, so I care more about comfort.  Although they are very cute.

  • I bought a pair (for 12$!!!) that were fairly comfortable, but the heel was too high (nearly 4"). I returned them and bought some liz claibornes for 40$.

I like more padding though, so I tried them on with those insoles that you stick in the ball of the foot. That made a difference but yeah, the 4" is too much for me. :(
