Non-Matching bridesmaids<3

My seven bridesmaids chose their own gowns – they were able to choose from four designers, just as long as their gowns were floor length and in the color sage.

They'll have coordinating earrings and bouquets to tie the look together, and the MOH  will be wearing lavender. My flower girl will be wearing white and a lavender slash. Bridesmaids dresses are so expensive – if they're going to spend that much they might as well spend it on something they love! I really wanted to go with something unique!

I put together a collage of some of the gowns my bridesmaids chose (I'll create another collage with all 7 gowns later!)

I love it! I am doing that too, but with navy. I think it's great to give them the option of how much they want to spend and how they want to look. I have too many BM dresses hanging in my closet that I will NEVER wear again, despite the brides saying that we "could always get it shortened!"

I also think the pictures look really cohesive when it's done right. Congrats on getting your WP look together!

I love when brides let their BMs choose their own dress.  I've told my girls the same thing.  They can choose any dress as long as it's knee length and green (doesn't matter what shade).  I know they will look fabulous.

love the idea.  i've been a bridesmaid and we all wore the same dress.  even though the dress was pretty, i have yet to find a place to wear it again (its been 1 1/2 years)

I let my BMs pick their own dresses, I just said Apple color and knee length. As it would turn out, the ladies standing on each end picked the same dress and the two in the middle picked the same dress...and both styles are almost identicle. I love the idea of leaving it up to them. No two girls look the same and I know my BMs literally all had four very differnet shapes

i am doing the same for my girls and they are so excited....makes the whole shopping experence fun for them.  they have all started looking at thinsg online and sneding my pics and its been so much fun

dependig on the type of dresses they all settle on i will coordinate jewelry around that- like if someone pics and off the shoulder-i will do earring and bracelet/bangle for them if no halter or one shoulders then ill do a necklace too

I respect your opinion but I disagree. I'm going to purchase earrings for each BM because I do think it will coordinate the look all together! I also think earrings makes a great gift as well!
