LADIES!!! HELP!!!!!

I live in  Michigan where we recently just got our first snow.  I am going to a wedding in a few weeks 4 hours north, in the upper peninsula....WHAT'S A GIRL TO WEAR!?!?!  It will undoubtedly be fridgid outside, but I know we'll be tearing up the dance floor...any suggestions!?

Wear pants, sweater, nice shoes, and bring back up everyday clothes that are thicker and warmer for just in case snow poop happens?

How much time is being spent outdoors?  Ceremony / cocktails?  Or just the walk from the car?

I like SBs idea!  Wear a normal dress with tights or leggings and a faux fur shrug.

Is the wedding going to be outdoors?  Otherwise, just wear a heavy coat over your dress and you'll be fine.

Layers are the way to go! I'm going to a wedding in January and am planning to wear a cocktail dress with tights, some cute heels, and a wrap or shrug. Hopefully that way I won't freeze during the ceremony, or get hot on the dance floor.

I agree if its mostly inside just wear a cute coat over a dress you would normally wear.

If you're barely going to be outside i would wear a dress with tights underneath and a nice warm coat. You can accessorize it with gloves and a scarf.
