Veil AND Accessory?

I am going to be wearing a very simple, one-tier fingertip veil. Is it too much to also wear a small flower or feather accessory with it? And if I do, where should I place it so that it can still be seen under the veil?

Try them on with your dress and decide what you like.  Either way would be fun!

You could wear the veil for the ceremony and then bust out the accessory for the reception...  that way when you take off your veil, you still have something AMAZING in your hair you can show off!

I am having the same issue...I think I am going to do as suggested in PP to wear my veil for ceremony then change it to the flower for the reception, as I don't really want to wear my veil all night.

Bring your flower and veil to your stylist and have them try a few ways.

Where on your head are you wearing your veil? I have a cathedral length veil that I am wearing with a vintage rhinestone broach turned comb. The comb will be placed on the side on my head and my veil will be on the crown on my head...I think you would be fine and it wouldn't be "too much" IMO

I am wearing a feather headpiece with a veil. I am wearing my veil lower in the back. I agree that trying them on together would be best

I am wearing a veil AND a flower in my hair. I was going to take off my veil after our first dance together.  I have my heart set on wearing both for the ceremony.  My FMIL suggested just one or the other but this is what I want. What do you want? I don't think it'll be too much. PLus, when is the next time you'll be able to wear two accessories in your hair and look faboulous?? Your WEDDING DAY!!!

I wore a veil and three little pearl and crystal pins in my updo.  I took my veil off for the reception and loved how they looked.  I wanted a veil for the wedding and outdoors pictures, but I'm glad I took it off for the reception.  The crystals along the edge were itchy!
