Wedding Shoes Confusion!?! Please help! :)

Hello all!! I am getting married December 2013 and our color theme for the girls will be black. The boys will most likely have white ties and vests (not really there yet). However, I really don't like the idea of having white wedding shoes. It's just not me plus I will never wear them again! Would it be weird to wear black shoes that match the bridesmaids dresses??? I have seen brides wearing blue as their something blue. Could that even work? Please help!!

i've seen brides in all different color shoes. If you like the way it looks, then there should be no problem.

I'm not a fan of black shoes with a wedding gown. But there isn't anything wrong with it. You can do blue or even a silver or glittery sparkle.

I'm wearing purple converse shoes under my wedding dress. Most people won't see them so wear whatever you want!

You do realize white ties signifies a VERY (more than black tie) formal event.

With that said, if your wedding is that formal, you might need to be careful abuot straying too far from tradition

I think you can wear whatever color shoes you want. I also don't really like white wedding shoes. I wore gold sparkly peep toe heels. Unless your dress is short, no one will really see your shoes anyway.
