Can I dye my veil?

Anyone had any success dying their veil?  Mine is ivory but I need it to be white?

I don't think you can "dye" it to be a lighter shade.  You could take it to a dry cleaner and see if they can bleach it.   But, I have no idea how or if that would work.

Uh, as a general rule you can only dye things to make them DARKER, not lighter....

bleach would lighten it, but it could also damage the delicate material.
