Dress style question--should I say no to corset back?

I ordered my dress this weekend, but I'm questioning the style now after talking to several people about corset back dresses. Are they out of style or not wedding appropriate anymore? I want to look my best! 
The dress has a zipper option as well. 
I need opinions, please!
