Wedding Day Hair- Where are you getting it done? (2 part question)

Anyone have any suggestions on places to get your hair done in the Salem NH area?  I'm not too familiar with the area- so I'm not sure where to go. 

Does everyone already have their appointment made?  I'm getting married middle of September- do you think finding a place should be my #1 priority?  Wasn't sure if I was on track or behind.

I found that I LOVED having hair and makeup done right in the hotel. It was so nice to just relax, people could just hang out, etc. It did take longer, with one stylist, than it would in a salon with many, but I loved it. I highly recommend Donna Cotnoir for both hair and makeup. She is super sweet and very professional. Customforyounh.com

I agree with Elizabeth.  I had a stylist come to the hotel as well, and it was great.  I recommend Christine Jolicoeur from Merlin's in Manchester.  She did hair for me, my mom, and my BMs and it all looked great! It was so much more relaxing as well.

I got married in Windham, but we traveled to Nashua to get our hair done at Salon Apryl in the Crowne Plaza hotel.  It was awesome; April and all of the stylists were fantastic, they fed us breakfast and mimosas as we got ready and we had a genuinely great time - and everyone's hair was absolutely gorgeous.

I won't lie, it wasn't cheap - but overall, the cost was still less expensive than renting a hotel suite big enough for the bridal party to get their hair & makeup done, AND we got fed (and coffee!  I needed so much coffee, I only got about 3 hours of sleep, haha!).

I do highly recommend them, and the travel wasn't bad at all.  We even left with enough time to go get lunch before heading back for the wedding

We are using Salon Bogar in Londonderry, NH.  They have been great to work with.  We are going to the Salon because it is on the way to the hotel we will be getting dressed at anyways, and I feel more comfortable with having multiple hair and make up artists for my 4 girls, 2 moms, and me.
