FOB/FOG Attire???

Does the FOB usually wear what the groom/groomsmen wear?  Any different for the FOG?

The groomsmen are wearing tuxes.  Suit or tux matter for FOB/FOG if neither have a preference?

Our FOB/FOG's wore tuxes but just a basic black/white tux - no wedding colors were included.

The dads aren't part of the wedding so they can wear whatever they want.  If either my dad or FI's dad asks, though, I'm just going to recommend a suit.

Just to add to this.. do the dads have to somewhat coordinate? Like if they are wearing suits, should they be the same colour with the same shirts. And my brother is MC, so should he wear what the groomsmen are wearing or does it not matter?

Our fathers are just wearing black tuxes with black vests/ties...just a simple and classic tux look.  They do not match the groomsmen and I did not want them to.  GM are in purple vesta and ties with black tuxes.  I, personally, think the fathers and mothers should not match the WP but that's just my opinion.

Just ask them what they would like to wear.  The most important part is that they are comfortable and like what they are wearing.  If they don't care, I would just do a classic tux (not matching GM) or a suit.

This is what we're doing too.  GM in purple vests/ties, ushers in silver vests/ties and dad's in classic black vests/ties.  Both of the mom's got special dresses so we all decided the dad's should be dressed up as well (For example, my mom got a very pretty beaded very dressy/classy dress.  It would look OK with a suit but it'll look WAY better in pictures of the two of them if Dad's in a tux.) :)

It's really up to you and your family. :)

I'd ask your FOB and FOG what their preference is, I don't think you can go wrong either way.

FWIW, both my FOB and FOB are wearing the same tuxes as the GMs, with different colored ties.  (all the vests are matching to the tux jackets, I'n not a big fan of colored vests).
