Cannot choose...

I have two dresses that I am having a horrible time chooseing between. Getting married in mexico. What are your guys' opinions? I don't have pictures of myself wearing them because of the boutiques rules but I managed, after 4 days because they don't give you style # or desinger's name either, to find pictures.
I like them both and they are both flattering but I cannot choose :(

Re: Cannot choose...

  • I like the top one. Seems like it would be more suitable for Mexico. Have Fun!
  • I think the first one is more appropriate for a beach wedding.

  • :) thanks so much, everyone else loves the first one too but I didn't know if they were just saying that cuz they thought it was the one I wanted lol. CMGr, I have looked at the laws, we are going to sign the marrige certificate before or after we go and just have a ceramony there for family and friends, we wanted to elope but would never have heard the end of it :) so for my man and I it will be the begining of our honeymoon, just have to wait a few extra days to start it :)
  • Yupp. They will, we won't be able to make it to mexico before the wedding for all the blood work and stuff due to my guys job responsablitys so we will sign the papers at home. All our family wants to attend a ceremony so we are going to do it for them. And it will be the only ceremony really, we will be signing papers infront of a lawyer/officiate and a few witnesses. I don't see the point of going through all the hoops there, I don't want to have my marrige certificate translated once nevermind twice. And my man hates needles :D
  • I like the first one better for Mexico.  It is gorgeous.
  • I love the first one too! :D

  • Am I the only one who doesn't see signing the licence a few days early to be a big deal (especially when its due to laws of foreign countries, etc)? The day of the ceremony IS the wedding day, because that's when the couple take their vows to each other, in front of their god(s) (if applicable). It's no one's business what day the licence is actually signed, especially considering it's not something that a vast majority of people in the U.S. do as part of the ceremony anyway. For tax and benefit purposes, the date/time of the licence signing is relevant. Otherwise, not so much (speaking from the perspective of an officiant).

And in response to the original question, I love the first one!
  • I love the first one too! :)
  • Thank you guys so much :)
I guess I will be making a appointment this week to try it on again and then see about ordering one in my size :)
You have all helped me out hugely :)
