I'm going to my cousin's wedding tomorrow and I need help on what to wear. I bought a blue dress at Target that's sleeveless. Being the kind of person who is forever freezing, I will wear a sweater. So, can I get away with wearing a white sweater without looking like one of "those" people?

FWIW, it's just a church wedding with a small reception in the fellowship hall, so it's not a big to-do with dinner and dancing and all that jazz.

I think so long as it's a little cardigan, and not a sweater-dress, long type of thing, it will be fine.  I doubt anyone would mistake you for the bride!  I know what you mean.....there will always be "those people" who talk, no matter what.

That being said, I think it's still a little early for white....do you have a black or neutral instead?

a little early for white? lol this isn't the 1950's where you can only wear white between memorial and labor day. you can wear white in december if you feel like it. 

a white cardigan over a dress is fine, you're not going to look like the bride!

Yeah, as long as it is a nice sweater and doesn't look like it came from your mother's closet, you will be fine! Have fun!
