Which Dress?

I went in expecting to fall in love with a simple A-line dress. Instead, I came out in love with two very different dresses: one form-fitting lace and the other fluffy A-line/ballgown. Both at the same price.

I'm a bit whimsical in my tastes and the fluffy dress makes me happy, but the other dress is so elegant and beautiful. I haven't settled on a feeling for my wedding yet.  So far it is outside, in the evening, on the patio of an lovely hacienda (Spanish-style home).  It could go casual or formal. 

Any thoughts?

I like both but I have heard that tool catches on things and tears very easily

I prefer the first dress. If you like the fluffiness of the ball gown, can you add a crinoline to make the "flare" portion of the gown more poofy?

You should go with whichever one makes you happier, but of the two I much prefer Dress 1.  Dress 2 screams Quinceanera to me.

Tough choice, both look great!  But I do prefer #1 since it is more elegant and sophisticated.

I like dress 1.  You can always wear a skirt under it with some layers in it to make it a little fluffier.

I love the first dress! It is gorgous and with a liittle crinoline could be even a lottle fuller.  I am not a huge fan of all of the tulle in the second dress.

Both are beautiful! I picked the first one because it has more of a "wow" factor, in my opinion. The second one almost looks like a prom dress to me...somehow it's less elegant than the first, but really both are great and you should wear whatever makes you feel best!

Both dresses look beautiful but I personally prefer dress #1.

They are both pretty, but I think #1 will adapt better to whatever your wedding ends up being (formal, casual, outdoor, vintage, etc).  Number 2 looks really, really great on you too, but would probably only look appropriate in a formal type setting.

yes they are both pretty but dress 1 has a pure and posh feel while dress 2 has a charming and fantasy feel.

you look amazing in both... but for the hacienda look i think #2 looks like a fun one to wear.... they set different moods... which do you want more... elegant and constrained or kick up your heels?

Both are beautiful, but Dress 2 evokes something special and sounds like the feel you're going for. Dress 1 is a little plainer and looks like everyone eles's -- and you don't sound like that kind of bride to me!
