I've seen 2 websites that offer to "make" wedding gowns that are replicas of designer gowns for a fraction of the cost.  Does anyone have experience with those?  I have 2 links but not sure I can post them or not.....  There are links in my Planning Bio though.  Thanks in advance!

    A girl on the budget board just posted about her dress she received yesterday.  You should chck it out.  

    I personally thought about it and then I realized I wanted silk and decided against it.  Plus I heard horror stories.  

    EDIT- she posted here as well, 5 posts or so down.

    I just got an awesome price from www.shoprkbridal.com They are an actual brick and mortor store and an authorized seller of the designers. 

    The dress I want is $400, about $150 to $200 less than online shops and boutiques!

    I'm looking at Alfred Angelo #1797

    Not all their dresses have online prices, but a big majority of them do.

    You may want to try them for a dress.
