Removing the comb from a veil

I had my veil custom made and got it back yesterday. It’s supposed to be a mantilla veil with a comb. But, it’s not very mantilla because she gathered the lace and sewed it into the comb and it has that full look at the comb. I hate it. Other veils I looked at the lace went all the way around the veil and you couldn’t even tell the comb was there. It looked like it was pinned to the hair.  Is it very difficult to remove the comb from the veil? I’m going to call her today and see if she can do this, but I want to know how much I am putting her out. I’d rather just pin it to my hair if she can’t get the comb the way I want

I'm assuming that you paid to have the veil custom made.   I would have no problem asking her to do it the way you want.

I would ask her to correct it to your liking..you paid for it to customized to your preference....I dont think you would be putting her out at all..just ask nicely and make sure she has an understanding of how you want it flat
